Victoria De La Garza

Victoria enjoys knitting and making colorful creations she says she enjoys the colorful patterns of the beanies.  She loves to see people wearing the product that she makes whether it's a beanie or a bracelet creation.  When asked what her dream is with her small business she says "My dream is to have a mobile boutique and travel all of the U.S. This is important to be because it would be my own store to have and I can travel and meet new people."

Victoria also has a passion for giving back to the community as she enjoys volunteer work.  One of her biggest idols is JJ Watt.  She says she can relate to his motivation about Dream Big Work Hard and helping others out.  Some of the volunteer opportunities she has participated in are: Houston Food Bank, Galveston County Food Bank, United Way Literacy Day, Helen Hall Library and Nalah's Dreamwork Foundation.  Many of her beanie creations have been donated to charities and was the inspiration on starting our annual book drive.

In recognition of her hard work, Victoria has received awards and many recognitions for her participation. She is also a heart disease survivor and participates in activities to raise awareness for congenital heart disease.  She was the proud recipient to the following awards:

  • May 2019 JJ Watt Foundation Dream Big Work Hard Winner

  • 2019 American Red Heart Association, Bay Area Go Red for Women Survivor Panelist

  • 2019 Night of Superstars Nominee and Inductee

Victoria works hard to create opportunities to practice her public speaking skills.  As a young adult who has created a journey of recognitions and achievements, she wants to serve as a role model to others with special needs.  When asked how she keeps herself motivated her response was "I am a positive person and when times get tough, I just always say You Got This! I believe that when you say positive things and with prayer it helps. When you believe you achieve!"

The keynote speaker events she has participated in are:

  • Partners Resource Network Youth Panel

  • Inclusion Works Conference 2016/ Project Speak

  • Unicorn Children's Foundation - Creative Workforce Solutions Summit Panelist

  • Dickinson ISD school board meeting

Coming soon to our website, Photography by Victoria and our team will be offering a Sustainable Fashion Collection!  We are so excited to expand our creative business to offer our customers more unique creations! We hope you are excited!
